The owners of this Victorian terrace have beautifully restored and extended their home by adding a kitchen and dining extension. The clients dreamt of an open plan traditional shaker style kitchen with an island perfect for family dining. The new extension and added skylight give the space an open and airy feel, ensuring the clients have a much-desired family area, perfect for modern-day living and dining.
Our team handcrafted this solid oak veneer kitchen and island, giving the room a cosy and homely feel, whilst also providing plenty of work surfaces and storage for cooking and baking.
Throughout this kitchen, a mix of knob, cup, pull handles have been fitted, perfectly blending the traditional style cabinetry with modern appliances and fittings. The units have been hand-painted in Farrow and Ball shade French Grey and fitted with handles finished in burnished brass.
Our clients requested a large larder unit to store various appliances and food essentials. The larder features adjustable shelving and spice racks, ensuring all supplies and appliances are neatly organised and within reach.
The clients opted for a large Belfast style sink with a weir overflow and a burnished brass tap. A catch handle has also been fitted on the cupboard underneath the sink, ensuring cleaning items are safely stored away.
The island within this kitchen features a mix of large cupboards, seating and shelves, perfect for storing cookbooks. The island has been hand-painted by our team in Farrow and Ball shade Pigeon.
