Top five kitchen trends for 2023

Can you believe it's 2023 in a few weeks time?! What a year it's been... But now it's time to look to the future and the up and coming kitchen trends for next year!

All about ivory!

Currently, amongst our clients, ivory shades within the home are popular, which will see us through to 2023. The colour ivory is one of the classic shades that appear quite often in home interiors. Our team recently built and designed a kitchen in Lytham St Anne's that fits this theme perfectly. In addition, 2023 will continue to showcase a trend for calmness in the kitchen, and this doesn't stop at colour choices - these chosen tones lend a warm feel to a space, particularly a kitchen.

Introducing push-to-open..

The latest kitchens are all about free-flowing and streamlined designs. Technological advances in push-to-open doors make it possible to part ways with handles in both wall and base cabinets. If push-to-open cabinetry isn't your thing, recessed handles provide the same sleek aesthetic and can be paired with contrasting materials to add interest.

All things hidden.

Hidden appliances and functional storage units are trends that have been around for a while but continue to be high on our client's must-haves to keep various appliances within easy reach and tucked away. Whether it's your coffee essentials or cooking appliances, pantries are crucial in many of our kitchens as they can act as additional storage space for food, a dedicated food prep space, a hidden coffee bar, and so much more. As a result, storage is usually a top priority for our clients, which will stay the same as we head into 2023.

Wood & Brass.

A noticeable trend for 2023 is the mix of brass and wood, which extends beyond just a contrasting paint colour on the walls. From the cabinets to the worktops and backsplash, it can allow you to explore different design elements. Be mindful that you can play around with rich textures, such as wood grains, matte finishes or sleek surfaces in your kitchen.

A Classic...

Last but by no means least, the Quooker tap is a popular addition to many of our kitchens, giving you instant access to 100°C boiling water, sparkling water and filtered water. Quooker taps have a unique system consisting of a small tank that will fit in any kitchen cupboard linked to the boiling water tap on your kitchen worktop. With up to six finishes and multiple styles available, we are confident that there is a style to suit your home and individual style.
