Old Rectory Green

This young couple wanted to maximise the use of space in this industrial kitchen and it was essential to incorporate an island for entertaining. With the modern ovens and integrated appliances on one wall, we were able to fit in a large island for prep, eating and cooking; the perfect combination for our clients and their lifestyle.

The house is a 1930's semi but had been beautifully restored with some modern touches yet maintaining many traditional features, working in harmony with our industrial kitchen design. The open plan design makes the most of the space, with the light wall colour giving off a bright and airy feel. We opted for a Kashmera Quartz for the worktop, with the subtle veins highlighting the grey and dark tones in the kitchen.

The clients wanted an island as the main focal point and opted for traditional contrasting colours from the wall cabinets. Throughout this kitchen, a mix of knob and cup handles were used. Perfectly blending the traditional style cabinetry with modern appliances and fittings. This kitchen was hand-painted in Down Pipe and Carnforth White.
