A closer look at our Fir Tree Farm project: a luxury kitchen made for hosting

This project has proven to be very popular across our social channels recently – and we can certainly understand why! A huge luxury kitchen space, with beautifully made features such as the bespoke coffee bar, this space is going to get you feeling inspired for your own future dream kitchen.

The homeowners of this project are a couple with a busy lifestyle, and the kitchen is the heart of their home. A space to have their morning cuppa, unwind after a hectic day, and entertain their friends and family on the weekend.

The handcrafted cabinetry has been painted in our bespoke shade ‘Forge Grey’, which complements the worktop design wonderfully. The worktops are Bianca Eclipsia Quartzite, which has a a stunning grey and white effect running through it. The large island served as the centrepiece of this design, with plenty of seating, storage, and hidden pop up sockets, but the real showstopper here is the coffee bar.

This coffee bar features an integrated Gaggenau coffee machine,  bespoke shelving and glass holders to display their glassware and artistic mug collection, and a silver antique mirror that helped to illuminate the space. The cabinet design was created with bi-fold pocketing doors, and looked even more beautiful open that it does when closed.

Appliances throughout the design were chosen to be in-keeping with the luxurious design throughout the home – including Gaggenau double ovens, wine cabinet, Quooker hot tap, and Shaws of Darwen sinks. At Thomas James, we only partner with brands who are aligned to our values, to ensure every detail of the kitchen is made from premium materials that are built for longevity and durability.

A hybrid utility-boot room with a Shaws of Darwen sink in the centre

The utility and boot room area sat just off the kitchen, with the design flowing seamlessly into this additional area to create a space that’s as beautiful as it is efficient. Every detail has been considered here too - with stunning cabinetry, top of the range appliances and clever storage solutions.

This multi-functional room provides the perfect place to store your outerwear, while simultaneously providing the ideal space to complete your weekly chore list. Doing your chores in a room like this would almost make them enjoyable, wouldn't it? (We said almost...)

We always say your utility room deserves to be just as beautiful as the rest of your home, and that’s definitely been achieved here.

This project was completed at the end of 2023, and our client is delighted they get to enjoy their dream kitchen for 2024 and beyond. If you’re looking to create your own dream kitchen this year, get in touch with our team via email (info@thomasjamesbespoke.co.uk), or book in an initial chat via our contact us page.
